The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown has suspended all activities — shows, classes and other events — through the end of the March due to the coronavirus. The events will be rescheduled, if possible, and ticket-holders will be contacted. On its website, MPAC states: “we ask for your patience as we work through the large volume of performances.
“The health and safety of our patrons, performers, volunteers and staff is paramount during this crisis,” said MPAC president and CEO Allison Larena on the site. “After consulting with our local officials, we believe the responsible action to take at this time is to suspend public events and to do our part to slow down the spread of this virus.”
The postponed events are:
March 12: “A Cappella Live”
March 13: Ballet Folclórico
March 14: New Jersey Ballet
March 16: “The Cat in the Hat”
March 17-18: “Bandstand”
