The Montclair Jazz Festival has released the schedule for its free, outdoor Downtown Jamboree, taking place on Sept. 13 at Lackawanna Station, at Bloomfield Avenue and Grove Street.
Here it is:
Downtown Stage (main stage)
Noon: Jazz House Collective
1:30 p.m.: José James
3 p.m.: Christian McBride’s Ursa Major
4:45 p.m.: Luisito Quintero & 3rd Element
6:30 p.m.: Lakecia Benjamin & Phoenix
8 p.m.: “Dance Party” with DJ Brother Mister (Christian McBride) and DJ Prince Hakim
Uptown Stage (for emerging artists)
Noon: Violet Mujica Quartet
1 p.m.: Desmond Diehl Trio
2 p.m.: Music on the Inside (MOTI)
3 p.m.: Nick Mikhail Quartet
4 p.m.: Jacquie Lee Quartet
5 p.m.: Jalin Shiver Quartet
6 p.m.: Jazz House All-Stars
Church Street and Park Avenue
11 a.m.: Gotham Kings (marching from this location to Lackawanna Station)
There will also be art and food vendors, a family-friendly “discovery zone,” and more.
