The biannual Exit Zero Jazz Festival — which regularly attracts tightly packed crowds to Cape May bars and restaurants, with larger shows at auditoriums as well — couldn’t go on as planned in the spring.

But producer Michael Kline has come up with a way to salvage this year’s fall edition. Oct. 1-4, the festival — which always presents an assortment of blues, funk rock and world music, in addition to jazz — will present shows on two stages at the Emlen Physick Estate, and at three other outdoor locations.

Here is the schedule. For information, visit exitzerojazzfestival.com.
