In honor of Record Store Day, which is today, here is a clip of Queens of the Stone Age performing during an in-store appearance at one of New Jersey’s most venerable record stores, Vintage Vinyl in Fords. The song is “My God Is the Sun,” from the band’s 2013 album … Like Clockwork, which came out two days before this performance.

Vintage Vinyl regularly hosts in-store appearances. Currently on the schedule are The Weeklings and The Grip Weeds, April 25; Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, April 27; and Silverstein, May 18.

New Jersey celebrated its 350th birthday in 2014. And in the 350 Jersey Songs series, we marked the occasion by posting 350 songs — one a day, from September 2014 to September 2015 — that have something to do with the state, its musical history, or both. To see the entire list, click here.
