Light of Day 2019 Montclair

Willie Nile will perform at a Light of Day concert at the Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair, Jan. 11.

The Light of Day concert at the Outpost in the Burbs series in Montclair, Jan. 11, will have a “Songwriters Stripped” theme, and the lineup has been announced: Willie Nile, James Maddock, Jeffrey Gaines, Williams Honor and Joe D’Urso. Part of the show will be devoted to a tribute to the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ White Album.

Tickets are currently available here.

Also, noon Dec. 1 will be the on-sale time for other 2019 Light of Day shows, according to an Asbury Park Press article that includes some of the festival’s participating artists, though the lineup for the main concert (Jan. 19 at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park) and other shows are not yet available.

As previously announced, the annual festival, which raises funds for research about Parkinson’s Diseases and related disorders, will take place Jan. 11-21 — mostly in Asbury Park, but also in Montclair, Manhattan, Philadelphia and Stony Point, N.Y.

The Asbury Park Press, which is one of the festival’s four main sponsors, lists the festival’s confirmed performers as Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, Jesse Malin, Steve Forbert, The Ventures, Remember Jones, Marc Ribler’s tribute to The Who, Albert Lee, Popa Chubby, The Weeklings, John Eddie, Nalani & Sarina, Christine Martucci, Taylor Tote, Bruce Tunkel, Pat Guadagno and the Billy Walton Band — in addition to the five Montclair acts, of course (who will undoubtedly appear at other shows as well).

Tickets for many of the shows will be available through Ticketmaster. For updates, visit lightofday.org.
