Ringo Starr & his All Starr Band’s Summer 2020 tour will include a show at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park. The concert is scheduled for June 14, with tickets going on sale Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. (Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. for presales); visit ticketmaster.com.
Other area stops including the Beacon Theatre in New York, June 2-3 and 5, and the Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia, June 21.
The All Starr Band will feature Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and Hamish Stuart. Hay, best known as a member of Men at Work, wrote the title track of Starr’s What’s My Name album, which was released on Oct. 25.
Starr also published, last month, “Another Day in the Life,” his third book of photographs and reminiscences.
The tour is currently scheduled to begin May 29 in Rama, Ontario, and end June 28 in Clearwater, Fla. Starr will turn 80 on July 7.
