Shadow of the City has been postponed to Aug. 28.
Because of the threat of bad weather on May 23, Bleachers’ Shadow of the City festival, which had been scheduled for The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on that day, has been postponed to Aug. 28. Some of the bands that had been booked for May 23 may still be on the bill, but the lineup will not be announced until a later date.
Meanwhile, Bleachers will still perform, inside the Stone Pony, May 23 at 7 p.m., with Bike Routes opening, and no admission charge. Attendees will be be selected from among those who register, by noon May 22, at bleachers.os.fan/albumreleaseparty.
According to a statement by Bleachers, “we will be randomly selecting fans until we hit venue capacity, and will prioritize those with a previously purchased ticket to shadow. confirmations will be sent by 6pm et tomorrow (May 22). anyone who receives their free ticket confirmation will be guaranteed a +1. we ask that you show your original shadow ticket at the door on saturday. message @bleachersmiracletickets on instagram if you have traveled a long way and we will make sure to hold a place for you.”
The show will celebrate the release of Bleachers’ Everyone for Ten Minutes album, which will be released on May 22.
Shadow of the City tickets will be honored on Aug. 28.
