Jack Antonoff’s fourth annual Shadow of the City festival took place at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, Aug. 25, with sets by Antonoff’s band Bleachers as well as Hayley Kiyoko, Julien Baker, Beach Slang and others.
Other attractions included a charity dunk tank and a Mario Kart tournament, with proceeds from both going to The Ally Coalition, which was founded by Antonoff and his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, to support LGBTQ youth.
Bleachers also performed at Shadow of the City in 2015 and 2017. In 2016, Antonoff performed at the festival as part of a reunion with his former band, Steel Train.
