“Singin’ and Dancin’ With the Stars” will be the theme of this year’s edition of the New Jersey Festival Orchestra’s annual New Year’s Eve concert, taking place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westfield High School Auditorium.

Soprano Maria Failla, who performed in “Cats” on Broadway and is currently in rehearsal for its national tour, will sing, as will tenor Cooper Grodin, who has starred in national tours of “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Misérables.” In addition, Dance Theatre of Harlem members Da’ Von Doane, Stephanie Rae Williams and Amanda Smith will help “recreate the song and dance magic of MGM musicals and more,” according to a press release.

“It’s rare to find a beautifully classical dancer who can also, well, get down. Throughout Dance Theatre of Harlem’s triumphant return to the stage last spring, 25-year-old Da’ Von Doane impressed with his crisp, elegant lines,” Margaret Fuhrer wrote of Doane when Dance magazine named him to its “25 to Watch” list in 2014.

David Wroe, the orchestra’s music director, will conduct.

Tickets range from $42 to $79 ($15 for children younger than 18). Visit njfestivalorchestra.org.
