SiriusXM satellite radio will launch a channel devoted to Bon Jovi on Nov. 4.

It will be all Bon Jovi, all the time on channel 18 of SiriusXM satellite radio, starting Nov. 4 at 5 p.m., as the channel, currently devoted to Billy Joel, will adopt a new focus.

The launch of Bon Jovi Radio, as the channel will be called, will coincide with the release of the band’s new album, This House Is Not for Sale. It’s a limited-time channel, running through Dec. 4.

According to a post on SiriusXM.com, the channel will feature, in addition to the House songs, past hits and album tracks, “live recordings, rarities, music from Jon Bon Jovi’s soundtrack to the movie ‘Young Guns II’ … and other artists from Jon’s personal music collection.

The channel will also distribute tickets to a private Bon Jovi show, which it will air live. The event will take place Dec. 3 in Miami, at a venue that has not yet been named.

Bon Jovi has a tour of arenas in the South, the Midwest and the West Coast scheduled for February and March. Though no other dates are currently scheduled, it seems likely that the band will play the East Coast, including New Jersey, at some point later in the year.

It’s just a limited run (one month), though, conceivably, they could bring it back at some point (like, if the band played U.S. stadiums next summer).
