The Mayo Performing Arts Center, which has been presenting drive-in concerts at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morristown, will try another venue, the parking lot at Rockaway Townsquare Mall, with drive-in shows by Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Oct. 9, and the Queen tribute band Almost Queen, Oct. 10.

Tickets — $100 to $225 per car for the Jukes, $99 to $199 per car for Almost Queen — will go on sale Sept. 19 at 10 a.m., with proceeds going to the Mayo Performing Arts Center’s recovery. (Like virtually all other arts venues, it has had to remain closed during the first six months of the pandemic).

Two more drive-in shows are currently planned for Fosterfields Living Historical Farm: The Sensational Soul Cruisers, Sept. 22; and “Manhattan Comedy Night” with Moody McCarthy, Rodney Laney and Marion Grodin, Sept. 24. The Mayo Performing Arts Center will also begin presenting indoor concerts for limited, socially distanced audiences Oct. 2, with a show by jazz artists Brynn Stanley, Grover Kemble and Jerry Vezza.
