At 7 p.m. June 26, the night before Bruce Springsteen’s Tracks II: The Lost Albums is released, The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music at Monmouth University in West Long Branch will offer a two-hour advance listening session for selections from the set, at the university’s Pollak Theatre. (The event was originally planned for the university’s smaller Lauren K. Woods Theatre, but was moved to the Pollak to accommodate interest.)
The event is being curated, and will be moderated, by Springsteen experts and radio personalities Tom Cunningham (of 107.1 The Boss’ “Springsteen on Sunday” show) and Rich Russo (of his own syndicated show “Anything Anything”).
The event is free, though registration is required, HERE.
One registrant will win two tickets to an Archives event that will take place at Monmouth’s Pollak Theatre on Sept. 5, featuring filmmaker Thom Zimny, a frequent Springsteen collaborator. Additional details about that event will be announced soon.
I am currently reviewing the seven albums of Tracks II, one by one. My first three reviews have been posted and can be read here:
