Springsteen in Columbus: Three tour debuts (WATCH VIDEOS)


Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band performed in Columbus, April 21.

Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band played three tour debuts in their 30-song concert at The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, April 21: “Youngstown” (complete with an epic Nils Lofgren guitar solo, to open the show), “Streets of Fire” and “I’m Goin’ Down.” You can videos of all three below.

Other notable songs in the setlist included “Racing in the Street,” “Trapped” and, as two of the encores, “Detroit Medley” and “Twist and Shout.” I have included a video, below, of these last two songs, too.

The Columbus show brought the current leg of Springsteen & the E Street Band’s tour to an end. They will start the next, European leg of the tour, May 5 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
