With “Deliver Me from Nowhere,” the movie about the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 Nebraska album, due to be released later this year, the just-announced release of The Boss’ new archival album — recorded with The E Street Band on Nov. 15, 2012 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha — is particularly timely. Springsteen performed six of the 10 songs from Nebraska at that show, including “State Trooper,” which you can listen to below.
Springsteen had not played “State Trooper” in concert since 2007, and has not played it since. This show also marks the last performance, to date, of “Highway Patrolman.”
