Pete and Maura Kennedy, who perform together as The Kennedys, will be featured as “special guests” at the “Music for Meals” virtual fundraiser that Montclair’s Outpost in the Burbs will present on its Facebook page, March 4 at 7 p.m.
Other performers will include Lily Vakili; Ed Seifert (of The Campfire Flies) with Connie and Kathy Sharar (of The Sharar Sisters); Scott E. Moore; and Sammy Mellman.
The stream is free but donations will be sought, to support the Outpost’s soup kitchen and Toni’s Kitchen, the food ministry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair.
The Outpost, which presents concerts at the First Congregational Church and other Montclair venues, is not currently presenting concerts because of the pandemic. But is still planning to reschedule postponed shows by artists such as Shawn Colvin, The Bongos, Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Alejandro Escovedo.
