E Street Radio disc jockey Jim Rotolo announced on the SiriusXM satellite radio channel today that Bruce Springsteen will resume his “From My Home to Yours” DJ series, Mon., Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. The show will then be repeated at other times, later, and also be available on demand.
Twenty-nine previous shows were presented from April 2020 to October 2021, giving Springsteen a creative outlet during the worst months of the pandemic. Some of the most memorable episodes were one in which he, Steven Van Zandt and Southside Johnny reminisced and played music together, and one that featured his wife Patti Scialfa and focused on the music she has released on her own albums, and music that has influenced her.
Rotolo didn’t say what the theme of the upcoming show will be, and I am not aware of any other kind of announcement being made yet. He also didn’t say whether this show is a one-off, or if more episodes are planned.
As always, I will transcribe whatever Springsteen says on the show and embed YouTube videos of the songs Springsteen plays, on NJArts.net. Click HERE for links to videos of every song played on all the previous shows, and the transcriptions.
