The Smithereens, Anthony Bourdain, Patti Smith among NJ Hall of Fame nominees

The Smithereens — whose frontman, Pat DiNizio, died in December 2017 — and Anthony Bourdain, who died this year, are among the 50 nominees for the public vote of the New Jersey Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019.

Online public voting ends Dec. 15; visit njhalloffame.org. The winner in each category, as voted by the public, is guaranteed induction.

The inductees will be announced in January, and the ceremony will be in May.
