‘Walking Dead’ star Norman Reedus to appear at Montclair Film Festival

Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon in “The Walking Dead.”

Norman Reedus, the actor best known for playing Daryl Dixon in the television series “The Walking Dead,” has been added to the lineup of the Montclair Film Festival. Reedus will talk about his career, and the craft of acting, with Joel Stillerman, president of original programming for AMC and Sundance TV (“The Walking Dead” is on AMC).

The event will take place at the Wellmont Theater at 2:30 p.m. May 7.

In addition to his work on all six seasons of “The Walking Dead,” Reedus has appeared in many movies, including “The Boondock Saints,” “Dark Harbor,” “Six Ways to Sunday,” “Deuces Wild,” “Blade II,” “Gossip,” “8mm” and “American Gangster.”

Rob Reiner, Stephen Colbert, Richard Curtis, Margo Martindale and Patrick Wilson will also appear at similar events taking place during the April 29-May 8 festival. Tickets go on sale today at 11 a.m.
