Anthony D’Amato and Brian Dunne’s ‘Quaransteen’ show takes place May 1 at 8 p.m.

Singer-songwriters Anthony D’Amato and Brian Dunne will team up for a show titled “Quaransteen,” May 1 at 8 p.m. (EST), in which they’ll take turns playing Bruce Springsteen songs and talking about him. It will be available via Instagram, at @anthdamatomusic or @briandunnemusic.

The two will broadcast from separate locations and be shown on a split screen. There will also be a donation link so that people can donate to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, if they would like to.

“The backstory to all of this,” says D’Amato in an email, “is that Brian and I met on tour a few years ago, and we quickly found out that we’re both Springsteen nuts who could talk about the music forever if nobody stopped us. We figured it’d be fun to take those conversations online while everybody’s stuck at home, so we’ll be performing a whole bunch of songs and chatting about them just like we do in the van or backstage on the road.

“Even though we’re both hardcore fans, we disagree on a lot of stuff, so it’ll be fun to debate each other a bit and let the audience chime in or ask questions in real time.”
