NJPAC’s annual Spotlight Gala will be online and on television this year, being shown on NJTV and at njtvonline.org at 7 p.m. Oct. 3. Brian Stokes Mitchell will host the show, which will feature past performances from the “American Songbook at NJPAC” series featuring Billy Porter, Christine Ebersole, Jessie Mueller, Valerie Simpson, Jarrod Spector and Joshua Bell.
Former Gov. Tom Kean, who played a big part in the creation of NJPAC, current Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy will received NJPAC’s Founders Award during the event. Afterwards, at 8 p.m., the celebration will continue with a live dance party with DJ KISS and DJ M.O.S. on NJPAC’s Instagram Live account.
The annual gala is organized by Women@NJPAC (formerly known as the Women’s Association of NJPAC),and has raised more than $54 million for NJPAC and its programs over the years. For information, visit njpac.org/support/women-at-NJPAC.
