Dave Matthews Band announces new album and Jersey-bound tour

Coinciding with the announcement of a new album — Walk Around the Moon, to be released on May 19 — The Dave Matthews Band has confirmed dates for a summer tour that will include dates at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, July 18, and the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, July 21-22. Other area dates will include the Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, N.Y., June 9; and the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y., July 19;

Tickets will go on sale Feb. 17 at 10 a.m., with fan club tickets already having begun at warehouse.davematthewsband.com, and a pre-sale for citi cardmembers beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 at citientertainment.com.

You can listen to the album’s first single, “Madman’s Eyes” (a song the band debuted in concert in late 2021), below.

According to a press release, Walk Around the Moon “took shape during the pandemic and is as much a reflection on the current times as it is an urge to find common ground.”
