The Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center will present four free, outdoor, socially distanced concerts at Lincoln Harbor Park in Weehawken in August and early September

The series starts Aug. 12 with “An Evening of Latin Jazz and More” starring saxophonist and clarinetist Paquito D’Rivera and also featuring harpist Edmar Castaneda, cuatro player Jorge Glem and pianist Alex Brown. (Update: Because of rain, this concert has been postponed to Sept. 11.)

It continues Aug. 19 with Venezuelan singer Nella, who won last year’s Latin Grammy for Best New Artist.

The 19-year-old phenom Matthew Whitaker will play piano and organ with his quartet on Aug. 26.

And the series concludes with singer-songwriter Matt Nakoa and his band, Sept. 2.

Masks are required and concert-goers must stay six feet from those not in their party. The concerts will start at 7 p.m., and everyone must bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Rain dates will be the following day.
