Gary U.S. Bonds has joined the cast of “Christmas Comes Early” at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como, Nov. 19. This is a benefit concert for #TeamFran (a support campaign for Francine Trupiano, who has brain cancer) and the shore-based charity band, Holiday Express, and will feature songs from Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run and The River albums (which are celebrating their 40th and 35th anniversaries this year) as well as holiday songs.

Other performers will include JoBonanno, Eddie Testa, Jillian Rhys McCoy, Bob Polding, Sean Loughlin, Joe Cartwright and Tommy Byrne, and the Born to Run 40 All Star House Band will feature Mark Leimbach, Kevin Gilmore, Dennis Miele, Joey Stann, Tony Perruso, Tommy Meares, Joe Belia, Joe Arminio, Ed Horne, Mitchell Jay, Sheri and Lori Gilmore, and Doreen Arminio.

The show is being organized by Terry Camp and Jesse Warren, who co-produced a similar concert at Bar Anticipation in August that raised more than $11,000 for CFC Loud N Clear, a post-rehab drug addiction care and support organization based in Farmingdale.

Tickets are $15 in advance (plus online service fees), $25 day of show. For information and updates, visit the page’s Facebook event page.
