We’re clearly in the Golden Age of the rock memoir, as Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Neil Young, Patti Smith and so many others have decided to get their life stories down on paper. Feb. 11 in 8 p.m., Little City Books in Hoboken — an independent store that opened last year at 100 Bloomfield St. — is hosting a unique event, with many New Jersey musicians performing songs by artists who have written books (as well as some who haven’t). It’s called the “Musician Memoir Show.”

According to the event’s Facebook event page, performers (with the artists they will be covering in parentheses) will include James Mastro (Bob Dylan), Dave Schramm (Keith Richards), Jon Fried and Deena Shoshkes of The Cucumbers (Neil Young), Gene D. Plumber (Willie Nelson), Little City Books co-owner Kate Jacobs (Patti Smith), Karyn Kuhl (Johnny Cash) and Smokey Hormel (Lonnie Johnson), among many others.

Tickets are $25, with drinks and snacks included; visit littlecitybooks.com.
