woodbridge free concerts 2022

David Bromberg will present a free show at Woodbridge High School, July 27.

The David Bromberg Quintet, Amy Helm, The Bongos and Martin Sexton will be among the artists performing in this year’s edition of The Mayor’s Free Concert Series. As it has done since the start of the pandemic, the series will include outdoor, socially distanced concerts all summer long at the football field at Woodbridge High School, with refreshments available via food trucks (though the Thursday shows will take place at a different venue, Herbert Rankin Park in Sewaren).

As usual, the series will feature oldies on Mondays, tribute bands on Tuesday, national acts on Wednesday, local bands on Thursdays, and country and roots music on Sundays. The shows will be at 7 p.m. on Sundays, and 7:30 p.m. on all other days.
