The Outpost in the Burbs will host a Light of Day show on Jan. 24.
The Light of Day WinterFest, which has been presenting annual concerts at The Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair since 2015, will do so again on Jan. 24, with performers including Guy Davis, Willie Nile, Glen Burtnik, James Maddock, Adam Ezra, Joe D’Urso, Matt & Eryn O’Ree, Rick Winowski, Jon Caspi and Sharon “Pipes” Lasher. It will be a “Songwriters in the Round”-style show, with D’Urso also serving as host.

Jan. 24 will be the last day of the 2026 Light of Day WinterFest, which will begin on Jan. 4. The main concert will take place Jan. 17 at The Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.
Among the shows that have already been announced is “Celebrating Five Decades of Willie Nile” with Nile and other musicians at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Jan. 16. Nile became a professional musician in 1976, though he didn’t release his first album until 1980
Founded in 1998, Light of Day raises money and awareness for the continuing quest to end Parkinson’s disease and its related illnesses ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy) within our lifetime. Approximately $7 million has been raised, over the years.
As usual, most of the Light of Day shows will take place in Asbury Park, though there will also be shows in Piermont, New York, New York City and New Hope, Pennsylvania, in addition to Montclair and Red Bank.
