Many artists have been covering Prince songs, in tribute to the late superstar.

As you may have heard, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed Prince’s “Purple Rain” at their concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night. But in one sense, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Since Prince died on April 21, at the age of 57, many Jersey artists — or artists who happened to have shows booked in the Garden State — have covered his songs, in tribute.

Here are some videos, starting with the Springsteen, in case you haven’t seen it. I will add more as they become available.

If you know of any videos of Jersey-related Prince covers — recording on or after April 21 — that aren’t included here, plus let me know in the comments section below, or email me at njartsdaily@gmail.com.
