With Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes‘ big New Year’s Eve show coming up at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, I thought people might enjoy taking another look, or their first look, at in-depth interviews I’ve done from December 2016 to December 2017 with three current members of the Jukes: keyboardist and vocalist Jeff Kazee, guitarist Glenn Alexander, and saxophonist John Isley.
Here are links to them, as well as to my most recent interview with Southside.
The New Year’s Eve show begins at 9 p.m., and tickets are $39 to $99; visit countbasietheatre.org.
In other news, the band has announced a March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day) concert at the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in New York. Tickets, priced $39.50 in advance and $45 day of show, go on sale Dec. 26 at noon; visit bbkingblues.com.
