ETHEL (from left, Corin Lee, Dorothy Lawson, Ralph Farris and Kip Jones) will perform at the Morris Museum, July 18.

In response to the pandemic, in 2020, the Morris Museum began presenting shows on its back deck — the parking deck behind the museum — and it has continued doing so in subsequent summers. This year’s shows have been announced, with tickets currently on sale to Morris Museum members and going on sale to the general public on May 25.

Attendees bring their own chairs and can arrive early with food and drinks, if they wish. If the weather is bad, the shows move indoors to the museum’s Bickford Theatre.

The museum will offer a Jazz on the Back Deck series, as well as classical music in its Lot of Strings Music Festival.

Here are the shows. They all begin at 7:30, with attendees welcome to arrive as early as 5, if they wish.
