Maplewoodstock’s lineup is now complete: The Wailers and Rusted Root have been confirmed as co-headliners, joining, as previously announced, “featured artist” Alejandro Escovedo.

The Wailers will headline on July 11 while Rusted Root will do so on July 12. Escovedo will perform before Rusted Root on July 12.

This is a free event, with two full days of music plus other attractions at Memorial Park. For the complete lineup, visit maplewoodstock.com.

The Wailers, originally formed as a ska trio featuring Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, later morphed into the larger reggae group, Bob Marley & the Wailers. After Marley’s death in 1981, bassist Aston “Family Man” Barrett and other members kept it going in various forms. Barrett leads the current lineup.

Rusted Root, based in Pittsburgh, are known for their percussion-heavy sound and their 1995 hit “Send Me On My Way” (which has been featured in movies such as “Matilda” and “Ice Age”).
