One of New Jersey’s most picturesque sites for a concert, the New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood, will present folk, jazz and rock shows on Fridays throughout the summer, starting this week.
The music will start at 6:30 p.m. on the Concert Lawn — or indoors, in the event of inclement weather. The shows are free, though a $5 donation is suggested. Lawn chairs are recommended.
The schedule is:
June 9: Richard Reiter Swing Band
June 23: The Kootz
June 30: The Guthrie Brothers
July 7: The Dalton Gang
July 21: The Christine Spero Group
Aug. 4: Rave On!
Aug. 18: No Fuss and Feathers Roadshow, featuring Carolann Solebello, Kayrn Oliver and The YaYas (Catherine Miles and Jay Mafale)
The New Jersey Botanical Garden includes 96 acres of gardens, surrounded by 1,000 acres of woodlands.
