REMEMBER JONES
Remember Jones and his 17-piece big band will present two New Jersey “A Big Band Holiday to Remember” shows, in December.
The first show, on Dec. 11, will take place at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and be a fundraiser for Mary’s Place by the Sea, a nonprofit organization that offers wellness retreats and services for women with cancer. Visit ticketmaster.com or marysplacebythesea.org/events.
According to a press release, “Special guests are expected from the Asbury Park scene, national touring and Broadway. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
“The evening will also include Mary’s Place by the Sea’s popular gift basket raffle, with prizes and giveaways throughout the night.”
The second concert, on Dec. 12, will be at the 3,000-seat Dream Live theater at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford. (The theater opened this summer). Tickets will go on sale Sept. 18 at 10 a.m.; visit americandream.com/venue/dream-live-performing-arts-center.
There will also be a third, non-New Jersey “A Big Band Holiday to Remember” show, Dec. 18 at The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York.
