The State Theatre in New Brunswick has announced its 2025-26 Broadway Season, with season tickets currently available at STNJ.org/SeasonTickets. (Single tickets will go on sale on Aug. 1.)
The season tickets are good for four shows: “Mrs. Doubtfire,” Nov. 1-2; “Kinky Boots,” Feb. 27-March 1; “Stereophonic,” March 27-29; and Meredith Willson’s classic “The Music Man,” May 8-10, 2026. The most recent of these works — “Stereophonic,” which is about a fictional ’70s rock band and was written by David Adjmi, with songs by Will Butler of the band Arcade Fire — opened Off-Broadway in 2023 and ran on Broadway from April 2024 to January of this year. It won five Tonys, including Best Play, after receiving a record 13 nominations.
In addition to these four shows, three more are available as add-ons to season tickets: “Elf the Musical,” Nov. 14-16; “Mark Twain Tonight!” (featuring actor Richard Thomas), March 5-6; and the Monty Python-related “Spamalot,” June 27-28, 2026. Single tickets are not yet available for these three shows, either.
