“No One Is Alone: A Concert of Hope” takes place at the Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, Sept. 10.

9/20 Update: There will be encore airing of “No One Is Alone” on HomeTowne Television via the local Comcast (36) and Verizon (33) cable platforms, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m., Sept. 23 at 8 p.m., Sept. 24 at 3 a.m. and Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.

The Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, which hosts the Pipes of Christmas concerts every holiday season, will be the site of a Hurricane Harvey Relief Concert, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. There will be no admission charge for the event, titled “No One Is Alone: A Concert of Hope,” but donations for the cause will be collected.

Many of the performers will be familiar to those who have attended Pipes of Christmas concerts over the years, though there will be some new faces, too, including one of New Jersey’s leading gospel groups, Rev. Stefanie Minatee and the Jubilation Gospel Choir.

The concert came together quickly, and there may be changes to the lineup before showtime. But the lineup currently stands at vocalists Gillian Hassert and Wayne Mallette, pipers from the Rampant Lion Pipe Band, The Shot of Scotch Highland Dancers, guitarist/composer Steve Gibb, fiddler Calum Pasqua harpist Mia Theodoratus, singer John Grimaldi and pianist Mark Yolleck, in addition to the Jubilation choir.

Updates will be posted at Facebook.com/ThePipesofChristmas.
