Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks have been added to the lineup of the 2021 XPoNential Music Festival, taking place Sept. 17-19 in Camden. They’ll perform in their stripped-down Tedeschi Trucks: Fireside Live format, Sept. 18 at the BB&T Pavilion, with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong opening. Tickets go on sale July 9 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales beginning July 8 at 10 a.m.; visit livenation.com.
The festival, sponsored by Philadelphia radio station WXPN (88.5 FM), will take place mainly in Wiggins Park, which is located close to the BB&T Pavilion amphitheater on the Camden waterfront. The lineup includes Dawes, Los Lobos, The Record Company, Shovels & Rope, Ani DiFranco, Strand of Oaks, Tommy Conwell & the Young Rumblers, Devon Gilfillian, Nicole Atkins, Great Time, Anna Shoemaker, Cory Henry, Adia Victoria, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Jade Bird, Arthur Thomas & the Funkitorium, Sierra Ferrell, Sofía Valdés, Michaela Anne, Paul Beaubrun, Lakou Mizik, Stella Ruze and Hoochi Coochi.
“Fireside Live,” named after the online series Tedeschi and Trucks presented during the pandemic, features some members of the Tedeschi Trucks Band but not the entire group. Tedeschi and Trucks will also present “Fireside Live” at the Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in Elmer, July 18; and the Suneagles Golf Club in Eatontown, July 20-21.
