“American Idol” alumni Constantine Maroulis and Kimberley Locke, comedian Vic DiBitetto, David Bryan of Bon Jovi, Jim Babjak of The Smithereens, the country duo Williams Honor, “Sopranos” actor Vincent Curatola (who played Johnny Sack), the New York Giants’ Daniel Jones, the band The Nerds and makeup/beauty/wellness expert Bobbi Brown will be among the participants in “Hip New Jersey Stays Home,” a telethon for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund that will take place May 31 at 8 p.m.
“Hip New Jersey” is a lifestyle show that airs on cable TV and online. The special will be shown on television’s News 12+ (available on Optimum 61 and Verizon Fios 530) and on the Hip New Jersey’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
“We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and commitment of the Hip New Jersey team,” said New Jersey first lady and NJPRF founder Tammy Murphy, in a press release. “The money raised from this benefit show will help address the urgent needs of our community, both now and in the weeks and months ahead as we continue fighting this pandemic.”
Other participants will include Melissa Gorga, Marco Benevento, David Burke, Golden Tate, George Oliphant, Garden State Radio, The Happy Fits, The Benjamins, Eliza Neals, Robin DiLauri and Samantha Blossey.
