The lineup has been announced for the Jan. 20 Light of Day concert at the Outpost in the Burbs. The “Songwriters in the Round”-style show will feature singer-songwriters Willie Nile, Guy Davis, Jill Hennessy, Jeffrey Gaines, James Maddock and Joe D’Urso, with an opening set by Danielia Cotton, Williams Honor, Jake Thistle, Jon Caspi and Rick Winowski.
The show will be at the First Congregational Church in Montclair. Tickets are available at OutpostInTheBurbs.org.
The 2023 Light of Day festival — which raises money for and awareness of the battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses — is scheduled for Jan. 7-20, mostly in Asbury Park though also in New York, Philadelphia and other cities. Previous Light of Day shows at the Outpost have taken place on the first day of the fest, but this time, it will be on the last day.
The festival, founded in 2000, has raised more than $6 million over the years.
