The frontmen of two of the leading new rock bands of the last 15 years — Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, and Craig Finn of The Hold Steady — will team up for a show featuring both of them, solo, at the Count Basie Center for the Arts In Red Bank, Oct. 5.

The Gaslight Anthem will play its 2008 breakthrough album, The ’59 Sound, and other songs at The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, Aug. 17-19. The Gaslight Anthem’s last album was Get Hurt, in 2014. Fallon has released two solo albums since then.
Finn has also released two solo albums since the last The Hold Steady album, Teeth Dreams, in 2014.
The Basie show is part of the Fallon/Finn tour titled Songs From the Hymnal.
