Eddie Brigati will present a show titled “After the Rascals” at the Cutting Room in New York.

Eddie Brigati of The Rascals will start presenting his “After the Rascals” show monthly at The Cutting Room in New York, March 1, with additional shows on April 5 and May 2. According to a press release, “additional shows will be announced soon.”

The show, produced by Steven and Maureen Van Zandt, will feature the Garfield native singing Rascals songs, Broadway tunes and more.

In the video below, Steven Van Zandt says: “It’s not a rock show. It’s quieter. It’s like an after midnight smokey jazz club.”

“Without the smoke,” Maureen Van Zandt adds.

In the video, Brigati is shown singing The Rascals’ “People Got to Be Free,” “Groovin’ ” and “How Can I Be Sure,” in addition to “Send in the Clowns,” “This Is the Moment” (from “Jekyll and Hyde”), “Corner of the Sky” (from “Pippin”), “A Lot of Livin’ to Do” (from “Bye Bye Birdie”), the Ben E. King hit, “I (Who Have Nothing)” and more.

Brigati has presented the show previously at The Cutting Room, as well as at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club in Asbury Park.
