Oteil & Friends — led by bassist Oteil Burbridge, an Allman Brothers Band member from 1997 to 2014 who also played with the Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company from its formation in 2015 until its final tour, which ended last week — will perform at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Sept. 15, in one of four late-night shows connected to the Sea.Hear.Now festival.

Oteil’s “Friends” — Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Duane Betts, Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock and Lamar Williams Jr. — have, not surprisingly, have strong ties to both the Allman Brothers Band and the Dead.

The Stone Pony’s other festival-affiliated late-night show, Sept. 16, will be an “Ocean Ave. Stomp” featuring Sea.Hear.Now co-founder Danny Clinch’s Tangiers Blues Band, and others.

Meanwhile, another Asbury Park nightclub, the Wonder Bar, will offer two late-night shows as well: “There Goes the Neighborhood,” featuring Sunshine Spazz, Tide Bends and Baquenne, Sept. 15; and Babe Rainbow, Sept. 16.

Oteil & Friends and Babe Rainbow will also perform during the day at the Sea.Hear.Now festival itself, Sept. 16.
