WATCH Jimmy Fallon sing ‘Robert Mueller’s Comin’ to Town’ as Bruce Springsteen

Jimmy Fallon, singing “Robert Mueller’s Comin’ to Town” as Bruce Springsteen.

Donning a costume to look like Born in the USA-era Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Fallon sings a Springsteen-esque “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” with new words about Robert Mueller and President Trump, on tonight’s edition of “The Tonight Show.” Check it out below.

“Well, you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not lie to the FBI, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town” sings Fallon.

“He’s making a list, who’s naughty and nice, he’s gonna find out just who to indict, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town, Robert Mueller’s comin’ to town.”

Instead of singing “You better be good, for goodness’ sake,” later in the song, Fallon sings “In 2018, you’re gonna pay.”

In 2014, Fallon wore a similar costume to sing a different kind of protest song, “Gov. Chris Christie’s Fort Lee, New Jersey Traffic Jam,” with Springsteen.

Springsteen, alas, does not make a guest appearance this time around. The Walter Kerr Theatre (at 219 W. 48th St.), where he is currently presenting “Springsteen on Broadway,” is not far from where Fallon tapes (at 30 Rockefeller Plaza), but “Springsteen on Broadway” is not presented on Sundays and Mondays.
