Woodbridge’s annual free, six-nights-a-week concert series announces 2024 lineup

Former October Project frontwoman Mary Fahl, the Latin Grammy-winning Venezuelan singer Nella, the singer-songwriter collective known as Fantastic Cat and a Light of Day benefit concert with artists to be announced are among the bookings in Woodbridge’s annual free summer concert series, which always is among the best in the state.

There will be national acts on Wednesdays, local bands on Thursdays, country music on Sundays, oldies on Mondays and tribute bands on Tuesdays, plus “Fun Fridays.”

The Wednesday and Friday shows will take place in Parker Press Park. Woodbridge High School will be the site of the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday concerts. And Thursday shows will be at Ferry Street Park in Sewaren.

In addition to these shows, there will be a free, all-day Woodbridge Summerfest, Sat., June 1 at Merrill Park in Iselin, with Super Trans Am, One Hit Wonderers, Moroccan Sheepherders, Southern Steel, the Bruce Springsteen tribute band Saints in the City, and Revolver, in addition to children’s activities, food trucks and a beer garden.
